NOTE: This procedure can be performed on rear gear case (XTXTZ)rear differential (XTX) 1Place 14 indrill bit on the inside surface of the needle bearing (against the bottom side); then drill through the pinion shaft needle bearing housing
2Using suitable driver, install the needle bearing into the housing making sure the bearing is seatedNOTE: Do not push the bearing too far into the housingCC885
2Using propane torch, heat the area surrounding the needle bearing to soften the Loctite
3Install the pinion shaft and secure with the existing 48 mm lock collarTighten to 125 ft-lbCC886
