7Remove the two brake calipersAccount for the four cap screws; then remove the hubs PR222
11Support the axle to not allow it to drop or hangPR264A
8Disconnect the front drive actuator connector from the main harness
CAUTION
The axle must be supportedIf the axle is allowed to drop or hang, damage to the inner CV joint may occur
12Remove the lower shock cap screwsAccount for the lock nuts; then move the shocks and upper A-arm up and secure them with strap
9Remove the lower and upper ball joint cap screws taking care not to strip the threads on the ball joint shaft; then using rubber mallet, tap the end of the axle and free it from the knuckle assemblyPR200
