Disassembling Crankcase Half (GenI)
NOTE: For steps 1-8, refer to illustration GZ298A
3Remove the water pump driven shaft (C)Account for the driven gear and drive pin
4Remove the snap ring securing the oil pump driven gear (D) to the oil pump driveshaft; then remove the gearAccount for drive pin and washerGZ298A
NOTE: To aid in installing, it is recommended that the assemblies are kept together and IN ORDER
1Support the right-side crankcase assembly on suitable support blocks; then carefully remove the crankshaft assembly (A) from the crankcase
