31Loosen the four adjuster screw jam nuts; then loosen the four adjuster screws on the rocker arms in the valve cover
NOTE: At this point, the rocker arms and adjuster screws must not have pressure on them
34Install the top side cap screws with rubber washers; then install the remaining cap screwsTighten only until snug
32Apply thin coat of Three Bond Sealant to the mating surfaces of the cylinder headsCC003D
35In crisscross pattern starting from the center and working outward, tighten the cap screws on both valve covers securely36Adjust valvetappet clearance (see Section 2)37Place the tappet covers into position on the valve cover making sure the O-rings are properly installedTighten the cap screws to ft-lb
