NOTE: The valve seals must be replaced
2Acceptable width range must be within specificationsMeasuring Valve Face Radial Runout 1Mount dial indicator on the surface plate; then place the valve stem on set of blocks2Position the dial indicator contact point on the outside edge of the valve face; then zero the indicator
3Remove the valve springs; then invert the cylinder head and remove the valvesMeasuring Valve Stem Runout 1Support each valve stem end with the Blocks; then check the valve stem runout using dial indicator
