3Remove the cap screws securing the valve cover to the head; account for the four rubber washers on the top side cap screwsRemove the valve coverAccount for and note the orientation of the camshaft plugNote the location of two alignment pins GZ200
5Using an awl, rotate the C-ring in its groove until it is out of the cylinder head; then remove the C-ringNOTE: Care should be taken not to drop the C-ring into the crankcase
6Bend the washer tabs down and remove the two cap screws securing the sprocket to the camshaft; then drop the sprocket off the camshaft being careful not to drop the locating pin into the engine
