Testing Engine Compression (H1)
To test engine compression, use the following procedureNOTE: The engine should be warm (operating temperature) and the battery full charged for an accurate compression testThrottle must be in the wide-open throttle (WOT) positionIn the event the engine can not be run, cold values are includedNOTE: The seats and center console must be removed for this procedure
8If compression is now evident, service the piston rings (see Section 3)
