Servicing Crankcase Components
1Inspect the crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, and connecting rod for excessive wear, damage, or discoloration2Using thickness gauge, check for the side-to-side clearance between the connecting rod and crankshaftClearance must not be greater than specifiedYT136

5Examine crankcase halves for discoloration in bearing bosses, cracks, or signs of warping
