Removing Right-Side Components ACOOLING FAN BROTORFLYWHEEL CSTATOR COIL DOIL PUMP

1Remove the intake pipecarburetorAccount for an O-ring in the intake pipe2Remove the cooling fan shroud; then remove the cooling shroud from the cylinder and cylinder head
CAUTION
Failure to fully engage the splines with the kick-start ratchet could cause false torque reading and crankshaft damage
9Install two alignment pins and the gasket; then secure the V-belt cover to the crankcase and tighten the cap screws in crisscross pattern to ft-lbMake sure the different-lengthed cap screw is located as illustrated
