5Remove the cylinder head nuts on top of the cam shaft holderAccount for four flat washers 8Remove the cam chain guide

6Remove the camshaft holder noting the location of the two alignment pinsDo not allow the alignment pins to fall into the engineCCYLINDER DPISTON

NOTE: Steps 1-8 in the preceding sub-section must precede this procedure
9Remove the two cap screws from the left side of the cylinder head; then remove the cylinder headAccount for two alignment pins and remove and discard the cylinder head gasket
