7Compress the element to remove excess oil Lubrication Points
It is advisable to lubricate certain components periodically to ensure free movementApply light oil to the components using the following list as referenceAThrottle Lever PivotCable Ends BBrake Lever PivotCable Ends CBrake Cable Ends DIdle RPM Adjustment Screw (Carburetor)

CAUTION
A torn air filter can cause damage to the ATV engineDirt and dust may get inside the engine if the element is tornCarefully examine the element for tears before and after cleaning itReplace the element with new one if it is torn
8Clean any dirt or debris from inside the air cleanerMake sure no dirt enters the carburetor9Install the air filterInstall air filter housing cover and secure with the five screws

1Remove the seat; then remove five screws securing the air filter housing cover

To check and adjust valvetappet clearance, use the following procedureNOTE: Valvetappet clearance specifications are for room temperature (approximately 68 F)
