NOTE: Always remove the negative battery cable first; then the positive cable KM785A

2Remove the CDI, start-in-gear relay, and fuse block and lay aside without disconnecting the wires; then remove the shift knob3Remove the six cap screws securing the body to the top of the frame; then remove the cap screws from the bottom of the battery box

5Remove the hardware securing the front fenders to the fender supports; then disconnect the headlight
