CLEANING AND INSPECTING NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
1Press the seal washer into the impeller by hand2Install the water pump drive seal; then drive the mechanical seal into the crankcase cover using an appropriate seal driver3Install the impeller with seal washer onto the water pump shaft and tighten securely4Place the water pump case into position and secure with the four cap screws5Fill the cooling system with the recommended amount of antifreezeNOTE: While the cooling system is being filled, air pockets may develop; therefore, run the engine for five minutes after the initial fill, shut the engine off, and then fill the cooling system
