NOTE: Rotate the crankshaft back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occurs while tightening the cap screws Installing EngineTransmission
DVX 1Attach suitable engine lift to the front engine mounting boss; then lift the enginetransmission into the frame from the left sideThe front of the enginetransmission should go in first2Lifting the front of the enginetransmission, move the assembly forward sufficiently to clear the rear engine mounts; then slide the enginetransmission into the rear mounts

4From the left side, install the remaining crankcase cap screws; then tighten only until snugNOTE: Rotate the crankshaft back and forth to ensure no binding or sticking occurs while tightening the cap screws
3Lower the enginetransmission and install the lower rear and upper rear through-bolts and nutsFinger tighten only4Remove the engine lift from the front mounting boss; then install the left and right engine mounting brackets and attach with the existing hardwareFinger tighten only5Install the front engine through-bolt and nut; then tighten the engine mounting bracket cap screws to 16 ft-lb6Tighten the engine through-bolt nuts to 29 ft-lb7Connect the shift linkage to the shift arm and tighten the nut securely8Install the output drive sprocket and drive chain; then secure with the lock plate and two cap screwsTighten to 43 ft-lb and bend the tabs up on the lock plate
