3Apply oil to the secondary driven bevel gear shaft; then install the bearing into the case
6Install the high drive gear thrust washer on the countershaft; then install the high drive gear and secure with circlip
4Install the flat thrust washer and driven bevel gear on the driven shaft; then using the universal joint and vise to hold the shaft, install new nut and tighten to 72 ft-lb
7Install the high gear clutch dog and flat washerAt this point, the countershaft is ready for installation
