7Remove the shift fork; then remove the main shaft assembly
NOTE: If the engine has not been removed, remove the swing arm assembly (see Section 7)
2Using crisscross pattern, remove four cap screws securing the secondary driven bevel gear assembly to the transmission case cover; then remove the assemblyAccount for an O-ring

8Remove the countershaft; then remove the primary drive axleKM646A

3Remove the three cap screws securing the secondary drive bevel gear cover; then remove the coverAccount for gasket
