3Install the movable drive face onto the crankshaft making sure to "bottom" the sheave out against the center bushingThe crankshaft splines should be visible and the stepped washer should sit over the splines KM276

5Remove the nut securing the driven pulley; then remove the splined bushing, centrifugal clutch, pulley, and V-beltINSTALLING 1Using rubber mallet, spread the driven pulley sheaves by driving the V-belt down between the sheaves; then slide the driven pulley and V-belt into positionKM263A

CAUTION
If the splines are not protruding as shown, the V-belt may be too deep in the drive sheavesThis would cause the drive pulley to be under-tightened and severe drive sheave or crankshaft damage could occur
