8Place the filter in the air filter housing making sure it is properly seated and secure with the clamp9Install the air filter housing cover and secure with the retaining clips; then install the seat making sure it locks securelyCHECKINGDRAINING DRAIN TUBE Periodically check the drain tube for gasoline or oil accumulationIf noticed, remove the drain tube cap from beneath the housing and drain the gasoline or oil into suitable container; then install and secure the tube cap 6While holding the adjuster handle in place, rotate the adjuster dial counterclockwise until proper valvetappet clearance is attainedNOTE: Refer to the appropriate specifications in Section for the proper valvetappet clearanceNOTE: Rotating the adjuster dial counterclockwise will open the valvetappet clearance by 0.05 mm (0.002 in per mark
7While holding the adjuster dial at the proper clearance setting, tighten the jam nut securely with the valve adjuster handle8Place the cylinder head cover with new O-ring into position; then tighten the cover securely
