NOTE: If the meter shows more than ohm of resistance, troubleshoot or replace the switchcomponent, the connector, or the switch wiring harness Drive Select Switch
The connector is the three-wire white snap-lock one in front of the steering postTo access the connector, the cover must be removedNOTE: Resistance tests should be made with the connector disconnected and on the selector-side of the connector
RESISTANCE (LO Beam) 1Connect the red tester lead to the white wire; then connect the black tester lead to the gray wire2With the dimmer switch in the LO position, the meter must show an open circuitNOTE: If the meter reads resistance, troubleshoot or replace the switchcomponent, the connector, or the switch wiring harness
RESISTANCE 1Set the meter selector to the OHMS position2Connect the red tester lead to the orange wire; then connect the black tester lead to the greenwhite wire3With the selector switch in the 4WD position, the meter must show less than ohm4Connect the black tester lead to the black wire; then select the 4WD LOCK positionThe meter should show less than ohmsNOTE: If the meter does not show as specified, replace the front drive selector switch
