8Remove the vacuum hose fuel-pump-to-carburetor hose and
9Remove the cap screws securing the left-side foot peg and footwell to the footrest; then remove the footwell
12Remove the E-clip securing the shift rod to the engine shift arm; then allow the shift rod to swing forward and hang straight down from the shift lever13Disconnect the speed sensor connector from the sensor housing14Remove the four cap screws securing the rear output joint to the transmission and push the shaft away from the transmission
