Stop the ATV completely and shift the transmission into the positionThe reverse gear indicator light should be illuminated ! WARNING
Never shift the ATV into reverse gear when the ATV is moving as it could cause the ATV to stop suddenly throwing the operator from the ATV

3Install the new bulb into the headlight housing; then secure with the spring clip4Connect the three-wire connector to the bulb; then install the bootTAILLIGHT-BRAKELIGHT To replace the taillight-brakelight bulb, use the following procedure1Remove the two screws and remove the lens cover2Push the bulb in and turn it counterclockwise3Install the new bulb by turning it clockwise while pushing in4Install the lens cover
If the reverse gear indicator light does not illuminate when shifted to the reverse position, the switch may be faulty, the fuse may be blown, the bulb may be faulty, connection may be loose or corroded, or the lever may need adjustingTo adjust, proceed to Adjusting Shift LeverADJUSTING SHIFT LEVER 1Place the shift lever in the (neutral) position; then set the engine stop switch to the STOP position and turn the ignition switch to the RUN positionThe neutral indicator light should illuminateNOTE: If the neutral indicator light does not illuminate, adjustment of the shift linkage will be requiredTo adjust, proceed to step 2
