Secondary Winding 1Remove the plug cap from the high tension lead; then connect the red tester lead to the high tension lead2Connect the black tester lead to either primary connector3The meter reading must be within specificationNOTE: If the meter does not show as specified, replace ignition coil EFI Sensors Components
CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR To test the CKP sensor, see Stator CoilCrankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor in this sectionMANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR 1Disconnect the MAP connector from the pressure sensor located on top of the throttle body2Select DC Voltage on the tester and turn the ignition switch to the ON position3Connect the black tester lead to the blackgreen wire and the red tester lead to the orangeblue wireThe meter should read 4.5-5.5 DC voltsIf the meter does not read as specified, check the ECU connector or wiring4Connect the MAP to the harness; then using MaxiClips, connect the red tester lead to the brownwhite wire and the black tester lead to the blackgreen wireWith the engine running at idle speed, the meter should read approximately 1.5 DC voltsNOTE: If the meter does not read as specified, replace the sensor
