8Install the shift shaft into the crankcase making sure the washers are properly located; then align the timing reference marks and completely seat the shift shaft GZ249
9Apply grease to the lips of the shift shaft seal in the shifter housing; then using new gasket, install the shifter housing and secure with the cap screwsTighten in crisscross pattern to ft-lb
11Place the key into the keyway in the crankshaft; then wipe all oil from the crankshaft surface and rotorflywheel bore and install the rotorflywheel onto the crankshaft aligning the keyway with the keySecure with the nut and tighten to 107 ft-lb
