4Place punch on the edge of the lock collar in the oil gallery area; then using hammer, stake the lock collar to ensure that the collar will remain securely tightened
7Place the input shaft assembly onto the gear housing; then secure with the existing cap screwsTighten to 23 ft-lbNOTE: If new gear housing is being installed, tighten the cap screws to 28 ft-lb
5Install the shift fork shaft wspring into the gear housing making sure the shaft O-ring is positioned to the inside
