CLEANING AND INSPECTING NOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
INSTALLING HUB BEARINGS AND SEALS

1Clean all hub components2Inspect all threads for stripping or damage3Inspect the brake shoes for excessive wear or gouges4Inspect the sealing area of the hub for pits5Inspect the hub splines for signs of wear6Inspect the hub for cracks7Verify that the bearings turn freelyREMOVING HUB BEARINGS AND SEALS

1Lightly lubricate the bearings with bearing grease; then using plastic mallet and bearing driver or appropriate size socket, install the inner bearing into the hub
