INOTE: The front wheels do not have to be removed to adjust the tie rodAlso, care should be taken not to disturb the handlebar position
Front Rack
REMOVING
8Using permanent marker of some type, mark the center of each front tire (at height parallel to the belly panel)
1Remove the cap screws and lock nuts securing the rack to the frame and front fender panel2Remove the front rack from the AWCLEANING AND INSPECTING
INOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
1Clean all rack components using pressure washer
2Inspect all welds for cracking or bending9Measure the distance between the marks (at height parallel to the belly panel) at the front side; then record the measurement10Push the forward until the marks are parallel to the belly panel on the back side; then measure the distance between the marks
