Handlebar Grip REMOVING
1Remove the plug and end-cap from the handlebar
7Remove the two cap screws securing the ball joints in the knuckle8Tap the ball joint end out of the knuckle; then remove the knuckle9Remove the snap ring from the knuckle; then remove the bearing
2Using compressed air between the grip and the handlebar, twist the grip back and forth until it slides free of the handlebarINSPECTING
WNOTE: Whenever part is worn excessively, cracked, or damaged in any way, replacement is necessary
1Inspect the grip for wear7cuts7or cracks
2Inspect the grip for deteriorationINSTALLING
HNOTE: Before installing grip, use contact spray or alcohol to clean the inside of the grip and the handlebar of glue residue, oil, or any other contaminant
1Apply liberal amount of Handlebar Grip Adhesive to the inside of the grip
2Slide the grip onto the handlebar until it is fblly seated with the smooth part of the grip facing up3Wipe off any excess glue; then secure the grip with the handlebar plug and end-cap
