PEAK VOLTAGE INOTE: All of the peak voltage tests should be made using the Fluke Model 73 Multimeter with Peak Voltage Reading AdapterIf any other type of tester is used, readings may vary due to internal circuitryINOTE: The battery must be at full charge for these tests
4Disconnect the two-wire plug from the starter relay; then connect the red tester lead to the green wire and the black tester lead to the black wire
Crankshaft Position Sensor 1Set the meter selector to the DC Voltage position
2Connect the red tester lead to the blue wire; then connect the black tester lead to the white wire3Crank the engine over using the electric starter
4The meter reading must be within specification
5Depress the starter button and observe the multimeterINOTE: If battery voltage is indicated, replace the starter relayIf no voltage is indicated, proceed to Neutral Start Relay check
