11Tighten the cap screws (from step 9) to ft-lb12Place the speed sensor housing and gasket into position and secure with the two cap screwsTighten securely
8Lubricate the magneto cover gasket with fresh engine oil; then place it into position on the two alignment pinsMake sure the outer shift shaft washer is in placeCD069
3Place the water pump into position and secure with two cap screwsTighten securely
4Install the crossover tube on the water pump and cylinder head making sure the O-ring is properly positioned15Install the shift arm on the shift arm shaft making sure the scribed marks (from removing) are alignedTighten securely16Place the gasket and recoil starterlouter magneto cover into position on the left-side cover; then tighten four cap screws to ft-lb9Install the magneto cover and secure with the cap screwsTighten only until snug10Place the starter cuplspacer into position on the crankshaft making sure new, lubricated O-ring is inside the cuplspacerTighten the flange nut to 25 ft-lb
