Measuring Crankshaft (Web-to-Web)
3Place the low driven gear onto the countershaft making sure the bearing and bushing are properly positioned; then place the washer onto the shaft4Place the reverse driven gear onto the countershaft making sure the bearing, bushing, and washer are properly positioned; then secure with the snap ring
1Using calipers, measure the distance from the outside edge of one web to the outside edge of the other web
5Place the reverse driven gear dog onto the countershaft; then secure with the snap ringINOTE: The countershaft is now completely assembled for installation

1Remove the small and large washers from the balancer shaft2Note the position of the alignment marks for assembling purposes; then remove driven gear #I with driven gear #2Account for pins and springs3Remove driven gear #2 from gear1;then account for large washer and key
