1Remove the four recoil starter cover cap screwsRemove the recoil starter assembly noting the location of the single washerNote the condition of the recoil cover gasketReplace if damaged

4Using Side Case Puller and the mm adapter, remove the left-side cover wlstator assemblyAccount for the two alignment pins and the position of the shifter bracket for installing purposes
