Installing Right-Side Components AOil Strainerfoil Pump BGear Shift Shaft
1Place the oil strainer with new O-ring into position beneath the crankcase; then secure with the cap screws and tighten securely4Place the washer and pin into position on the oil pump shaft, install the oil pump driven gear, and secure with the snap ringmNOTE: Always use new snap ring when installing the driven gear
2Place the strainer cap into position on the strainer making sure the O-ring is properly installed and secure with the cap screws; then install and tighten the oil drain plug to 16 ft-lb
