Measuring Valve Face Radial Runout

I Mount dial indicator on the surface plate; then place the valve stem on set of blocks2Position the dial indicator contact point on the outside edge of the valve face; then zero the indicator
ISupport each valve stem end with the Blocks; then check the valve stem runout using dial indicator

3Rotate the valve in the blocks
2Maximum runout must not exceed specificationsMeasuring Valve Stem Outside Diameter
