10Remove the exhaust pipe and account for the exhaust seal 13Disconnect the speed sensor lead from the wiring harness
11Remove the pinch screw and lock nut securing the gear shift lever; then remove the gear shift lever from the shaft on the engine
14Remove the four cap screws securing the rear output joint to the transmission and push the shaft rearward as far as possible
