Rear Gear Case REMOVING 1Remove the left-side rear A-arms (see Section 7)2Remove both of the rear drive axles (see Drive Axles in this section)3Remove the four cap screws securing the engine output shaft to the rear gear case input flange
3Install the rear drive axles (see Drive Axles in this section)4Install the left-side rear A-arms (see Section 7)
REMOVING 1Secure the ATV on support stand to elevate the wheel; then remove the wheel
! WARNING
Make sure the ATV is solidly supported on the support stand to avoid injury
2Remove the cotter pin from the nutNOTE: During assembly, new cotter pins should be installed
4Remove the two cap screws and lock nuts securing the rear gear case to the frame; then remove the gear case through the left sideKX041
