3Install the lower main bearing inserts into the main bearing caps; then install the thrust bearing inserts into the rear main bearing cap using oil-soluble grease to hold in place
6Using Main Bearing Seal Installation Tool or 0.07 mm (0.003 in shim stock as shown, slide the main bearing cap into position in the main bearing saddle being careful to keep the seals from sliding out of place
4Apply liberal amount of clean engine oil to the crankshaft main bearing journals and the main bearing saddles; then carefully install the crankshaft into the engine block
