8From the right side, install the gear case cap screws and using the pattern shown, tighten until the gear case halves are finally joined, turning the shafts frequently to assure no binding occurs; then tighten to ft-lb
10Install the gear shift cam plate, cam arm stopper, and gear shift sub shaft as shown making sure to align the timing marksTighten all fasteners securely
