5Install the cap screw securing the drive clutch assembly to the flywheelPTO shaft and tighten to 40 ft-lb6Place the V-belt cover gasket into position; then install the cover and secure with the cap screwsTighten to ft-lb NOTE: It may be necessary to turn the handlebar or rock the ATV forward and backward to align the differential lock splines and allow engagement
3Return the differential lock selector to the UNLOCK position and listen for the front drive actuator to operate4Turn the ignition switch to the OFF positionTighten the jam nut securely; then install the boot on the adjuster
Fuel Filter
This diesel-powered ATV is equipped with high efficiency fuel filterThe fuel filter should be changed in accordance with the maintenance schedule or more often if operated under severe conditions or winter operationTo change the fuel filter, use the following procedure1Remove the right front fender splash panel; then using an appropriate filter wrench, remove the fuel filter2Apply light coat of oil to the seal ring of the new fuel filter; then install the filterTighten until the seal ring contacts the filter head; then tighten an additional 34 turn
