7Install the engine drain plug and tighten to 18 ft-lbPour the specified amount of the recommended oil in the filler holeInstall the oil filler cap ! CAUTION
Any oil used in place of the recommended oil could cause serious engine damageDo not use racing, vegetable, non-detergent, and castor-based oils
8Start the engine (while the ATV is outside on level ground) and allow it to idle for few minutesDE025A
3Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the engine and drain the oil into drain pan
9Turn the engine off and wait approximately three minutes10Remove the oil level stick and wipe it with clean cloth
4Remove the right-side engine cover5Using suitable filter wrench, remove the oil filterNOTE: Clean up any excess oil after removing the filter
