5Install the pinion housingRemovingInstalling Axle Seal
NOTE: This procedure can be performed on rear gear case
NOTE: Prior to installing the seal, apply HighPerformance #2 Molybdenum Disulphide Grease to the seal outside diameter
4Using an appropriate seal installation tool, evenly press the seal into the cover bore until seated
1Remove the seal using seal removal tool
! CAUTION
Make sure the tool is free of nicks or sharp edges or the seal will be damaged
