Disassembling Pinion Gear
NOTE: This procedure can be performed on rear gear case
NOTE: If the cover is difficult to remove, pry on the cover in more than one recessed location
1Using T-40 torx wrench, remove the cap screws securing the pinion housingAccount for the coupler, fork, and spring
4Remove the splined coupler, shifter fork, pin, and spring of the differential lock assembly and set asideNote position of parts for assembling purposes
