4On the oil temperature switch, allow the oil to cool, and when the temperature is at (or just before) temperature of 140 (284 F), the meter should read an open circuit5On the cooling fan switch when the temperature reaches 120 (248 F), the meter should read closed circuit6On the cooling fan switch, allow the oil to cool, and when the temperature is at (or just before) temperature of 110 (230 F), the meter should read an open circuit7If the readings are not as indicated, the switch must be replaced8Apply thread tape to the threads of the switch; then install the switch and tighten securely9Connect the switch leads 4On the coolant temperature switch, allow the oil to cool, and when the temperature is within temperature range of 108-111 (226-232 F), the meter should read an open circuit5On the cooling fan switch when the temperature reaches 88 (190 F), the meter should read closed circuit6On the cooling fan switch, allow the oil to cool, and when the temperature is within temperature range of 82 (180 F), the meter should read an open circuit7If the readings are not as indicated, the switch must be replaced8Install the switch and tighten securely9Connect the switch leads
