Testing Oil Pump Pressure
NOTE: The engine must be warmed up to the specified temperature for this test
NOTE: Some oil seepage may occur when installing the oil pressure gaugeWipe up oil residue with cloth
1Connect the Tachometer to the engine2Connect the Oil Pressure Test Kit to the oil filter drain plug (400500) or the oil pressure test port (700 EFIH1 Models)
3Start the engine and run at 3000 RPMThe oil pressure gauge must read as specified400 (Manual Transmission)
0.6-1.0 kgcm (9-14 psi) Oil Temperature60C (140F)
