6Noting the position of the two holes on the end, remove the shift cam assemblyAccount for inner and outer washers
! CAUTION
Do not remove the remaining output shaft assembly unless absolutely necessaryIf the shaft is removed, the shaft nut must be replaced with new one and the shaft must be re-shimmed
10Remove the secondary drive gearsecondary driven gear retaining nutFrom inside the crankcase using rubber mallet, drive out the output shaft assemblyAccount for the output shaft, shim, washer, and the nut
