2Clean the engineRemove the cloth from the exhaust system3Check all control wires and cables for signs of wear or frayingReplace if necessary4Change the enginetransmission oil and filter5On liquid cooled models, check the coolant level and add properly mixed coolant as necessary6Charge the battery; then installConnect the battery cables ! CAUTION
Connect the positive battery cable first; then the negative
7Check the entire brake systems (fluid level, pads, etc, all controls, headlights, taillight, brakelight, and headlight aim; adjust or replace as necessary8Tighten all nuts, bolts, cap screws, and screws making sure all calibrated nuts, cap screws, and bolts are tightened to specifications9Check tire pressureInflate to recommended pressure as necessary10Make sure the steering moves freely and does not bind11Check the spark plugClean or replace as necessary
