REMOVING 1Remove the front body panelfender (see Front Body PanelFender in this section)2Remove the steering post cover; then remove the cap screws securing the handlebar caps and move the handlebar out of the wayAccount for the two handlebar capsKC184A

NOTE: If tie rods are to be completely removed, remove the outer tie rod ends from the knuckles at this time
5Remove the cap screw securing the lower steering post to the bearingAccount for flat washer
