6Secure the brake caliper to the knuckle with the two cap screws (right side only)Tighten the caliper to 20 ft-lb7Compress the hand brake lever and engage the brake lever lock; then secure the hub nut (from step 5) to the drive axleTighten to 200 ft-lb8Install new cotter pin and spread the pin to secure the nut9Secure the shock absorber to the frame with cap screw and new lock nutTighten to 35 ft-lbKC0100
7Slide the hub out of the knuckle and set aside8Remove the cap screws and lock nuts securing the knuckle to the A-armsDiscard the lock nutsNOTE: Never reuse lock nutOnce lock nut has been removed, it must be replaced with new lock nut
10Secure the shock absorber to the lower A-arm with cap screw and new lock nutTighten to 20 ft-lb11Secure the boot guard to the lower A-arm with the two cap screwsTighten securely12Install the wheel and tighten to 40 ft-lb13Remove the ATV from the support stand
9Remove the cap screws and lock nuts securing the A-arms to the frame; then remove the A-armsNOTE: If removing the upper right A-arm, it will be necessary to disconnect the brake hose from the A-arm
