RESISTANCE
RESISTANCE (HI Beam) 1Set the meter selector to the OHMS position2Connect one tester lead to the brownblack wire; then connect the other tester lead to the lavender wire3With the dimmer switch in the HI position, the meter must show less than ohmNOTE: If the meter shows more than ohm of resistance, replace the switch
! CAUTION
Always disconnect the battery when performing resistance tests to avoid damaging the multimeter
NOTE: Perform this test on the switch harness using the following procedure
RESISTANCE (LO Beam) 1Connect one tester lead to the brownblack wire; then connect the other tester lead to the white wire2With the dimmer switch in the LO position, the meter must show an open circuitNOTE: If the meter reads resistance, replace the switchKC276A
