Assembling Crankcase Half NOTE: For ease of assembly, install components on the right-side crankcase halfNOTE: If the output shaft was removed, make sure that the proper shim is installed
3Apply liberal amount of oil to the crankshaft bearingUsing propane torch, heat the bearing until the oil begins to smoke; then slide the crankshaft assembly into place
1Install the output shaft into the crankcase making sure the two gears, shim, washer, and nut are in the correct orderMD1334
NOTE: If heating the bearing is not possible, the crankshaft can be installed using crankshaft installer
