NOTE: The brakelight should illuminate whenever either brake is appliedIf the brakelight does not illuminate, troubleshoot the respective brakelight switch Headlights
On the Utility model, the connectors are the two 3-prong ones secured to the front bumper supports (one on each side) with cable tiesOn the DVX model, the connectors are the two 3-prong ones under the front fenderBULB VERIFICATION (LO and HI Beam)

2Apply the opposite brake from step 1There should be an audible "click" from the start-in-gear relay3Disconnect the four-wire connector from the start-in-gear relay; then using voltmeter, connect the red tester lead to the greenyellow wire (1) and the black tester lead to the green wire (3)
Visually inspect the bulb for broken filaments, blackening, or loose bulb baseVOLTAGE
NOTE: Perform this test in turn on the main harness side of the connectorsAlso, the ignition switch must be in the LIGHTS position and the engine must be running
1Set the meter selector to the DC Voltage positionKM460A
